We use materials sourced from trusted New Zealand suppliers—chosen for quality, longevity, and environmental responsibility.
At Framingonline, we’re committed to using high-quality materials that are not only durable and beautiful, but also environmentally responsible. We source from trusted New Zealand manufacturers and suppliers, and wherever possible, we choose sustainable and recycled options.
Our frame mouldings are made from renewable New Zealand plantation pine. In the rare cases where they aren’t, they come from forest-friendly countries committed to sustainable forestry practices.
Our matboards help protect your artwork while minimizing environmental impact. All our matboards are made from pulp fibre, are acid-free, and are manufactured through certified environmentally sustainable processes.
Our smaller frames are backed with recycled card, while our larger frames are backed with 3mm or 5mm acid-free foamcore for long-term preservation.
We use high-quality glass made from silica (sand) and cullet (recycled glass)—a natural and eco-conscious choice that offers clarity and protection.
Our packaging is designed to protect your frames while supporting sustainability. Our bubble wrap packaging is recyclable and the corrugated card is made from 87% recycled materials. Whenever possible, we reuse clean packaging materials to reduce waste.
